💠 What is depression? Let's understand a little:

🧠 In the language of psychology, Depression is a mental state, where a person is lost within himself. There is no enthusiasm, no interest, no taste for life. Depression is a mental state, which can be due to many reasons—stress, hormonal imbalance, or life challenges. The famous psychologist Viktor Frankl said: "Depression is a chapter of life, not the whole life."

Our body and mind are inextricably linked to each other. Depression is not just a mental condition, it also has physical effects. 🎓 World-renowned psychologist Carl Jung said — “I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become.” That is, what you have become is not your story — but what you choose to become, that is your true identity.

🩺 Doctor's Advice - Take care of your Physical and Mental Health:

Seeking a doctor's advice is the first and most important step. First, take care of your body and mind —
• Do you get enough sleep?
• Is there a deficiency of iron, vitamin-D, B12 in the body?
• How much gadget addiction?

☕ 20 minutes of walking every morning,
🌿 A little sunlight,
🍎 Nutritious food and enough water —
These are natural medicines.

Balanced diet:

Eating healthy food has a positive effect on the mind and body. Eat plenty of fruits, vegetables, grains and protein-rich foods. Avoid caffeine, processed foods and sugar as they can have a negative impact on mood. "A healthy body, a healthy mind" - this proverb is eternally true.

Adequate sleep:

It is important to sleep 7-8 hours a day. Lack of sleep has a bad effect on mental health. Sleep recharges our brain and reduces anxiety.

Regular exercise:

Light exercise such as walking, running or yoga helps to keep the mind cheerful and reduce stress. It produces endorphins (also known as the "happy hormone") in the body, which improves mood and reduces depression. "Physical activity is a powerful tool against depression." - (Quote from Harvard Medical School).

🕋 Islamic Spiritual Knowledge - Peace in the Path of Allah:

The Ultimate Guideline to Get Rid of Depression

Islam teaches us that human suffering is temporary, but Allah's mercy is eternal. Depression does not mean you are weak, you are a fighter. Allah says in the Quran: “Indeed, with hardship is relief.” (Surah Inshirah: Verse 6)

Reciting and Understanding the Quran:

The Quran is the word of Allah, which gives us guidance in life. Recite the Quran regularly and try to understand its meaning. “Indeed, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find peace.” (Surah Ar-Ra'd, Verse: 28).

Prayer (الصلاة):

This is the exercise of the soul. The five daily prayers are not only worship, but it is a source of rest and peace for our mind and body. Through prostration we get closest to Allah and gain peace of mind.

Dua and Dhikr (ذكرى):

Ask Allah for help and rely on Him. The Prophet (ﷺ) taught us to make dua in various situations. When in despair, recite the following two supplications more often every morning and evening:

(لا إله إلا الله وهو الرحمن الرحيم)

(Meaning: There is no god but You, Glory be to You. Indeed, I was among the transgressors)

(Meaning: O Allah! I seek refuge in You from worry and sorrow, from helplessness and laziness, from stinginess and cowardice, from the rib of religion, and from the oppression of men.)

Forgiveness and Repentance:

Ask forgiveness from Allah and repent; this will calm the mind and give you a new ray of hope.

Patience and Tawakkul:

Be patient and put your trust in Allah during the hardships and trials of life. Allah Almighty says, "Indeed, Allah is with the patient." (Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse: 153).

💌 Inspirational Quotes:

Remember, you are not alone in this feeling. Many people face stress in modern life. But there is no need to despair, because there is a solution to every problem.

Robin Sharma said —“Every change is hard at first, messy in the middle, and gorgeous at the end.” (Every change is hard at the beginning, messy in the middle, but amazing in the end.)

No matter how many times you fall, get up again—that's the key to moving forward." - Victor Kiyam

"No matter how deep the darkness, the light always shines." - Do Janta Mata.

"Your life will be more beautiful if you believe—'I can do it, God willing!'" Quran, Hadith, and science all say at once —

"You are not alone." Your feelings, pain, sadness — everything is normal.

📢 Invitation to Everyone:

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Whoever teaches a beneficial knowledge, if that person acts on it, he will have a reward equal to that action, without any decrease in the reward of the doer." (Sunan Ibn Majah, 240). Standing by others, playing a role in the improvement of society establishes oneself in a noble way.

Therefore, please reach out to others by liking, sharing, and upvoting this post. Spread knowledge, spread light — and share the reward, God willing.

Maybe through one of your shares, many people will be able to return to the path of light from the darkness of despair and you will also receive the reward of spreading its knowledge. May Allah grant you and all of us mental peace, well-being, and success. (آ-مين) .
